Starting point

pausch.io brings together a structured foundation course, self-produced video content, assignments and questions in a cohesive learning environment. This case study looks at the product developed for this purpose and its technical operation.

My contribution

I developed, hosted and operated the Laravel platform entirely independently. This includes the structured foundation course with around 18 hours of self-produced video material and the technical learning and mentoring environment.

Approach and decisions

  1. Build foundations step by step

    HTML, CSS and JavaScript form a progressive foundation course with around 18 hours of self-produced video material.

  2. Make learning support tangible

    Video lessons, progress, assignments and questions are brought together within one product.

  3. Bring practice into the learning journey

    Individual assignments, real projects, code reviews and gradually increasing difficulty complement the course structure.

Implementation and architecture

The self-developed Laravel platform combines course content, video, learning progress and mentoring on one technical foundation.

  1. Laravel platform

    An independently developed web platform provides the shared interface for the course and its supporting learning environment.

  2. Video and delivery

    Video streaming, lesson structure and fingerprinting provide the technical delivery of my own course material.

  3. Learning progress and sessions

    Progress, session tracking and control of concurrent sessions and logins represent the technical learning state.

  4. Internal processes

    An admin area, CRM, student and contact management, billing and basic internal accounting logic support platform operation.

Go-live and operation

I host and operate the platform myself.

Relevance to other projects

pausch.io demonstrates my ability to implement a web platform, learning product, self-produced media, mentoring processes, hosting and operation as a cohesive system. My role as a mentor in this field, teaching current knowledge including AI-assisted software development, further demonstrates my skills and experience.
